You have already shown to me,
Your main focus is on yourself.
For many years,
I have been exposed to this.

You have already shown to me,
You have had no time to be of assistance to me.
Those times when I needed,
Your advice and company.

You have already shown to me,
An absolute selfishness.
And now you wish to address 'us'...
As if I should be serious about this?

We could have been lovers and much more.
But when you leave me to go about your business...
I go to my door and lock it.
And feel a relief you have left.
That's how I feel concerning you and me,
In a relationship to address.
