In Between Sensations Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

In Between Sensations

Conclusion of collusion collides.
And collapsing on denials.
Closing in on the dark side of lies.
Hidden under,
Smothered corruption.
Dumped in a thicket of alibis tried.

Lost.
And dazed in between sensations.
Celebrated in promised temptations.
But how and where,
Will false beliefs eventually meet.
From intentional divisions.
Feeding upon deceptions to feast.

Lost.
From a logic that is all but gone.
And common sense,
With its partnership with nonsense.
Has extended this relationship far too long.

When will shadows begin to be removed,
From minds captivated...
By a debating to keep darkness appreciated.
When will darkness be removed,
From those close to selling their souls.
Allowing themselves,
To become trapped into isolation.
Until that beast within them seeks,
Themselves to feast upon to defeat.
And chased in a darkness,
By hatred and craze.
Unleashed like wild animals.
They alone created.
Addicted to their own blood to taste.
