In Faith Poem by Kewayne Wadley

In Faith

We stood in the mirror
As our reflection slowly dissipated.
Eyes blink,
Losing consciousness of everything
Seen.
Submerging in our perfect imperfections.
Revealing the faith we have in one another,
Without a second glance.
The Shadows born again against the ground. Baptized
(Mere) silhouettes in pursuit of one another.
Obligation to blind eyes that go unseen.
Identifying a deeper motive
Deaf to the literature that demonstrates Otherwise.
linguistic expressions, now sober.
Gravitational to philosophical criticism.
Perfect in every kind of way
