In My Dreams
Every night in my dreams
You pay me a visit
For you know how much
I miss you during the day
You come so close to me
Talk so lovingly
The next morning I feel
So loved and cared
For you know how much
I miss those in a day
At times your presence
Gives shiver to my spine
Yet I pretend as if I love it
For I fear you'll read my heart
And stop paying me a visit
I never realized how dependent I am
On your love so precious
Till you left me to your heavenly abode
Leaving me alone in this dark world
A lover or beloved feels loneliness in dreams. It has been astutely and touchingly delineated here. This poem reflects precious love incisively. A great write.10
