In My Loneliness Poem by Ravi Kopra

In My Loneliness

Rating: 5.0

You played with barbie
dolls in the backyard
near the peach tree
by the back wall.
Your life was cut short.
The shadows you left behind
now surround me
and bring tears to my
eyes in my loneliness.

The shadow of sorrow, that the loss of a close person casts on our lives, is depicted perfectly here. Thanks for sharing

The poem shows the value of an innocent relationship cut short abruptly by Providence. Quite poignant. Thanks for sharing.
