In Place Poem by Dislocated Heart

In Place

Rating: 5.0

Within his domain,
you weep and sleep.
In his steps of disgrace,
you laugh in heaps.
all that you have fallen for.
it's the grave you keep.

Lurking behind,
debate with me not,
on what is black and white.

behind close doors,
rough of a touch against your heart..
words from those sinful lips you must kiss.
as what remains are forced into place.
could this get any better?
to hear those words.. from another.
does that make your heartbeat?
perhaps when an embrace was in place.
the taste in which it stays.
could the understanding be more great.
To pursue such a lovely embrace.

I hope all the chess pieces fall into place.
