In Search Of… Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

In Search Of…

When seasons have repeated on a single plane
Do you aimlessly follow or cautiously lead…
Surviving bouts of drought…revived by gentle rain
Remember that good feeling when you succeed

Are you moving slowly or caught in a stampede
Know that the distance traveled is not an illusion
Careful… links along the way may mislead
Stay steady and arrive with a positive conclusion

Your thoughts have matured into shafts of grain…
You can stand tall without confusion or doubt
You are assured the search has not been in vain.
Aren’t you glad you toughed it out
