In The Company Of Nature Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

In The Company Of Nature

And so the sweet rose, had gloriously bloomed,
I welcomed the sun on that warm afternoon,
For i could not think of a better place,
To just think of you, with the sun on my face.

There in the sunshine the butterflies danced,
Taking me back to that time of romance,
And the glorious sunshine continued to glow,
Many years have gone by but I still love you so.

In the distance the mountains, shine in their glory
The bees hum so gently, sweet flowers i adore thee.
This place oh so peaceful, so tranquil, serene,
I so wish that you were right here beside me.
