In The Creek Poem by Randy McClave

In The Creek

Whomever is baptized will be saved
Their road to salvation has been paved,
Whomever is baptized unto the Lord's death
Will now breathe a brand new breath.
They will then buried beside of him
Now it will be them,
They will be raised unto his great glory
Now a new glorious chapter will be added to their story.
There still will be sadness, hardships and strife
But, now they have been raised into a new life,
Now they will forever celebrate God's grace
With an energized soul and a lightened face.
Then as soon as the sinner does repent
Into them the Holy Spirit is sent,
For them they know that Christ had died
When on the cross for our sins he was crucified.

She gave her soul unto God
With more than a handshake and a nod,
Salvation she did seek
So, she was baptized in the creek.
