In The End Poem by Randy McClave

In The End

If the world ends tomorrow
It's because God wants it to,
No matter of man's threats or of his sorrow
Or what any president or dictator might do.
God had created this world
And only he will tell it when it will end,
No matter of what flag is unfurled
Only God has the ending letter to send.
God wants to bring all of his children home
Before he allows the final apocalypse,
As we sit and wait underneath his mighty dome
Then he and not man will tell the world when to eclipse.
If God doesn't want the world to stop
Then the world will continue to keep on spinning,
Of this fact, God is always on top
Only God can end the world that he created from the beginning.
