How deep my love for you is
I can never express in words
How much I miss you as days lengthen
That alone is the pain I feel;

Every word you uttered
Every minute we spent together
I cannot erase from the pages
Of this golden book of love,
From the sands of the shore
Of an ocean of thoughts,
Every memory is preserved
In the treasure trove of my heart;

How can I convince you & this world
Is it fate or a curse from some other life
That we are to remain miles apart
Why am I always dazed by this spell
That we were soul mates in life after life;

The needle of my days is wound now
By just this love
That I love you is written in blood
On the wall & ceiling of my Taj Mahal;

Wherever I go, whoever I see
In whichever country of lovely girls
This love for you can never fade
That alone is the biggest victory
Of my love for you
While your love for me remains
An impossible dream,
Even if the whole world hates what I write
If at all it makes you burst into laughter
That alone is the biggest victory
Of this poet’s love letter;

Let me pass my days
In the madness of this love
As a wild flower in your harsh dreams
Let me be a thorn on the stem
Of the rose that you are forever
The dropp of dew on your surface will fade.
