In The Twilight Of This Life Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

In The Twilight Of This Life

Stretching out across desert beauty in the twilight of this
life, feeling so out of place lately, knowing too much of
the taste of near-death.

Not really minding, because right around the next saguaro
is another, telling a story of life and what it might one day
miss without you.
