In Your White Satin Dress Poem by Gert Strydom

In Your White Satin Dress

Rating: 5.0

(for Annelize)

In your white satin dress I do you see,
lovelier than an angel you came to me,

from your father's golden Mercedes big eyed
under a white veil for eternal knots to be tied

and on that sunny day we were both so very happy,
where still in you I do the woman of all women see

and now maybe that day is decades far gone
but to me you still do remain the only wonderful one.
