Indecisively United Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Indecisively United

Many want what they want.
And not what is best,
For everyone to progress.

Many declare a need for unity.
In communities,
United in divisions.
Depending upon people in positions,
Representing their interests.
None of which are of a collective effort.
Since indecisive they remain.
In selecting what is best,
For everyone to progress.
Without arguing who wants what they want.
When and how this can be achieved.
Regardless if the benefits,
Are limited to a few.
Claiming to represent everyone's point of view!
