POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
In India's Airports, we frequently hear the announcement:
'passengers are kindly requested to proceed for boarding';
what is meant:
'passengers are requested to (kindly) proceed for boarding'
This happens because wefirstthink in our own language, then, speak in English!

Kindly, is used to negate the negativity of a command. There is nothing bad about politeness.++10
