Indomitable Spirit Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Indomitable Spirit

Rating: 5.0

The great traveller
Had travelled a long distance
With great energy and elan,
At last being tired,
The traveller stopped
In front of a mysterious road,
There he saw that
Someone had written on a board,
'The most important road, '
Then the eminent pilgrim didn't waste his time,
Soon he began to proceed
With an indomitable spirit.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

The adventure is taking the road less travelled. Not the one beaten by footprints. The satire, the poke at the human mentality of following the footprints of others, refusal to think laterally, is well-taken. Nice
