industrial prosperity affluent materialism greed seeded
post World War 2 passing baby boom early mid 1960s
extravagance where beauty innocent is not sacred not
protected post World War 2 a desire for industrialised
prosperity for ownership possessions after war hardships
memories a desire to live in rest moments material joys
a desire to live now enjoy now be happy now in possessions
deceptive ownership paradise filling homes in shopaholic objects
filling life with purchase illusive happiness in buy buy sprees
surviving World War 2 inspired a desire lust for life luxury
legacy live in reward now self gratification rewards spoilt moments
saving waiting to purchase expired in plastic fantastic credit limits
