Insects We Need
Insects're many
Some're harmful
Some useful
Some essential.
To get rid of
Harmful ones
We use strong
Chemicals.
Useful insects're
Destroyed as well
Birds we need're
Killed in the process.
Bees and butterflies
Dwindle in numbers
Affecting pollination
And production of food.
All unintended
Actions of man
Reversal of these
Not easy matter.
Careful thought and
Thorough research
Are needed to save
Life on our planet.
Very useful information. Chemicals are harmful to both good and bad insects. We should devise other ways to get rid of bad insects. Nice share.
Pollution is endemic everywhere. I read somewhere that removing people, pets and farm animals from the equation whats left of wildlife is on 4%.
Beautiful. My wife had entomology special paper in her M. Sc. Zoology. She loves to describe the nature characteristics and behaviours of bees, butterflies and so many other insects. This wonderful poem can be taken as an extended lesson of things I have so far known about insects.
