Inside Of Me - Poem by Stephen Mountain

The meaning of life is the answer we want to know,
Aimed at answering the question of why we grow,
Why do we seek to find out why we are here,
When all it might do is cause us everlasting fear.

Is there such a thing as fate, or a life plan?
Was we all created from a greater man?
Situations happen in life which make us ask the question why,
Did that person really need to die?

These answers are not found and life goes on,
Pondering over the same questions as another day comes along,
When after all of this time all I really wanna see,
Is the future thats inside of me.
