Through the light
I saw myself in your eyes
There's no need to chase me anymore
Pick the pieces off of the floor
We'll never be broken hearted
Let's go back to where we started
Young and wild
Was just our style
With our faces in the breeze
As we ran through the trees
We were each our own perfect crime
Never caring about the time
When I was yours and you were mine
So take a walk across the line
As we're getting older, we're keeping each other young
Never mind our age now, let's keep having fun
I still want to be your moon
I still want to take your breath away when I walk in the room
So when the light in our eyes gets too bright
We'll run away together into the night
Say you will and I will, and together we'll be on the outside looking in
Until we become exactly who we want to be on the inside when we're looking outside
And we're looking outside at the same moon and stars that were always there the night we met that night
