The essay in The Globe and Mail on the 13th of Jan,2020
Said that the 4 hour television program on PBS
Would look into the economics and politics of the USA
In particular, the unity promised by Barack Obama
Which he failed to deliver
For he was followed by Donald Trump who capitalised on
The disappointment suffered by some Americans at the
Historic election and office of President held by a black man, Barack Obama,
And elected a "big bully" who encouraged negative politics, Donald Trump;

I watched most of the entire program and
Granting that Donald Trump has some good aspects
And you must remember that even Adolf Hitler had a few
But these were not conducive to the good health of the average individual,
The only thought that came to my mind is that the white American man
Has been disappointing rather than being mentally uplifting
For America is a nation which has produced Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King Jr. and John F. Kennedy,
All martyrs who died fighting for the right and just cause
If they chose to unite, Donald Trump won the presidency on the basis of divisive politics,
Both partisan and arising from racial differences;

Through the course of history, the white man and woman,
Who have not been the first ones to be made on the planet
With respect to all four civilizations,
Have chosen to dominate and lead the way
They have conquered and achieved in many cases, what appeared to be the impossible,
But in the current political atmosphere in the USA,
And I may be one of Pres. Trump's worst critics
But I do appreciatively concede that he has made a fortune
By dint of clever thinking and hard work,
However, the show was a complete eye opener
For we all got to see his ugly side
If I conclude that some of it may be just hearsay or putting a spin on what he idly said,
There is enough to convict and impeach him for he is a racist man
For he called neo-Nazis some very fine people
And this is against the basis of the foundation of the nation of America
For its founding father, Thomas Jefferson, said in his Declaration of Independence,
That all men are created equal
And as the American Constitution decrees in Article II, Clause 8, the President takes the following oath:
—"I do solemnly swear (or affirm)that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Continuing as me, the poet, I tried to correlate this oath of the American President
With the Civil Rights Act of 1964 which says:
The Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Pub.L.88-352,78 Stat.241, enacted July 2,1964)is a landmark civil rights and labor law in the United States that outlaws discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.[4] It prohibits unequal application of voter registration requirements, and racial segregation in schools, employment, and public accommodations.
And Congress asserted its authority to legislate under several different parts of the United States Constitution, principally its power to regulate interstate commerce under Article One (section 8) , its duty to guarantee all citizens equal protection of the laws under the Fourteenth Amendment, and its duty to protect voting rights under the Fifteenth Amendment.

Based on the above two pieces of information, I can infer that Pres. Donald Trump
Has failed to protect and defend the Constitution of the USA
For not only did he (although the Muller Report concluded that he could not be directly linked to
The tampering with voter rights during the American Election 2016
But he cannot be exonerated of blame)orchestrate Russian interference in the voting rights
But also defended racist people in the Charlotsville rally by white supremacists and neo-nazis,
And even if these abherrations from good presidential conduct can be dismissed,
One cannot ignore a voice from the hearts of many Americans
Which beat to the heart of one goal, one price, one soul in the magic of a country
The voice that says that there is progress in unity and not in a divided America.
