Interrogating Truth Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Interrogating Truth

What point does disputing the truth make,
When interrogating anyone...
To convince them of a truth that is.
Although...
Is not the purpose that is wanted to hear.
By those making clear,
They would rather deceive.
Done to keep lies told to believe.

What point is sought to have achieve,
To protect the ones...
With criminal intentions.
In attempts to hush and cover up,
Their love for gutter sleaze.
And their corrupted activities.
Visible to witness.
Yet wish no one publicly sees.

Those in the 'loop',
And members of this 'duping squad.
Know exactly who they are.
And so do the ones who interrogate.
Whether they are treasonous or traitors.
Together they betray,
Truth to disobey it.
For rules and laws created on a daily basis,
Just to have it their way.
Done to devalue,
The proof of truth.
And its evidence produced to debate it!
