Interrupting Others Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Interrupting Others

We arrive to have it realized,
Some are open to accept...
Lessons to learn that never end.
And yet,
Many arrive to believe...
A listening to others,
With this to do...
Achieves nothing beneficial.
From their perspective.

Leaving those who think like this,
Who interrupt others...
Before they finish what they say.
Is a way to achieve...
Understanding, comprehension and wisdom!
Only to be left to wonder why,
When they begin to speak...
There may be someone noticeable,
Asking to be excused to use the bathroom!
