Intersected

★ Intersected

☆ Poetry by Du Qing [China]
☆ Translation by Luo Zhihai [China]

A beam of light shotting from the West Wing-room, and another from the East Room
Intersected in the yard, like us meeting by chance
A out-of-body experience in the middle night sky. As they met
And part company each going his own way. A beam of light disappeared in the wilderness.
Probably as a horse's hoof sound
Never heard, when we review each
The way coming and going, had merged into the darkness of night
