Into A Mountain, Cycling Poem by james watkin

Into A Mountain, Cycling

Putting its boundless, its thick
Ringing tier on tier
Between I and the city.
Yet straining to hear!

Whilst leaving all, back-turned on
Familiar-roofed, obscure
What an inner sight promotes
For home, more secure!
