Into The Sun Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Into The Sun

Rating: 4.0

Theres been something I've been dying to say. Something withering deep inside my bones
I guess its not as uncommon as I put on.
But still there lurks something uncertain as I dont know which way the wrinkles on your face will depict upon hearing.
As these words make up the stars that fill up the universe through my eyes, mine alone.
As each moment waiting to hear your voice is another moment dragged deeper into hell
a pleasure and a pain as antcipation makes the wait worth while.
Its just that the term 'forever' seems to only apply to things you truly desire
Is there any understanding
Even if at all this appears to be a dream. You know, this is just in my mind.
As you are the saint whom answers the question.
Is heaven real or not
A paradise found within the glare of your stare. The slightest movement of your lips that beckons another breath in your presence.
Plainly stated 'I need you'
As traveling this road is more enjoyable while the sun is out.
'You are the sun'
