Into your hair I loosed Poem by Lies Van Gasse

Into your hair I loosed

, into your hair I loosed a Japanese cherry tree

and in the years when we will leave this house,
never to return, encounters flourish,
acquaintances unfurl.

On every street corner you have met me anew.

Away we fly, over streets, gardens,
further and further from the buds
to transform into who we are.
