Invaluable Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Invaluable

In search of the perfect season?
Where happiness existed?
And no one in their right mind resisted?

What a blissful state of mind that would be!
Few would decline the offer to be that free.

But that isn't the kind of mindset projected yet.
Not one someone could find,
To fight for and protect!

In these days and times...
A peace like that would be highly suspect!

It would be too precious.
It would be too priceless.
Undefined!
And dissected, inspected and rejected.
Until what had been glorious,
Becomes totally worthless!
