Invisible Snowflakes Poem by David Harris

Invisible Snowflakes

Rating: 5.0

Someone said it was going to snow today.
The sky was a morbid grey
and it’s possible we might
be hit by snowflakes falling everywhere,
however knowing our luck
it will probably just rain.
A nice dream it may have been,
at least it would have slowed down
all know it alls who say
I have passed my test
and I know how to drive.
Sadly, as I look out my window
waiting for the snowflakes to see
the weatherman is apologising
that he got it wrong again.
Shucks, and here I was hoping to be snowed in
so I wouldn’t have to go to work today,
never mind there is always tomorrow.
