Coleridge's The Ancient Mariner
Created out of fancy and imagination
Is but Vasco da Gama or Columbus' song,
A sailor, a boatman, a shipman's song,
A navigator's song,
A poem of new light and new lands,
The wide-wide sea and man as a lonely traveller
On the vast fathomless sea
So deep, so full of waters.
