And, as the saga of war will continue
soldiers will keep shooting,
bombs will keep falling, destroying houses
creating loss of homes, loss of families
loss of unity, loss of lives;
and a loss of peace all over the world.

The saga of war always has its own story,
anger and hatred always rises at its supremacy
hostility and enmity also keeps escalating
day by day more deaths, more violence
night by night more tragedies, more retaliation;
unforgettable, unforgiving scenes
as one trying to defeat the other
endless grudges, endless retaliation
endless deaths,
is this humanity or antipathy?

How will those who survive forget
those who have been killed in the cross-fire?
how will the eyes stop its tears
when they remember their loved ones
who have perished under those fallen apartments?
what do countries at war finally achieve?
why has education and history not enlightened
the hostile nations of the effects
and consequences of a long war?

How will people keep dying and falling
like dead leaves on the ground?
how will vengeance then ever lose its path?
how will provocation not trigger retaliation?
how will atrocities recede its relapse
how will minds forget the trauma they preserve
how will anger evaporate from their knuckles?
will time ever extinguish those tormenting memories?
how will survival re-gain its trust?
Is the saga of war worth its worthiness?
