It Frosted Last Night Poem by NHIEN NGUYEN MD

It Frosted Last Night

Rating: 5.0

It frosted last night
Two house cats ready to rise
When I turn on light.

It frosted last night.
Outside cats are late to rise
When I wait inside.

It frosted last night
My rose bushes sadly cried
That they'll miss sunrise.

It frosted last night
My water lilies will die
After their long cry.

It frosted last night.
Crescent moon sets low on sky
And sad as my sigh.

It frosted last night.
Frost glitters in autumn light.
Pool drowns light blue sky.

It frosted last night
Yellow leaves glide side by side
Along with my sighs.
