It Is Like Being Punched In The Nose Poem by Hebert Logerie

Have you ever been punched in the nose?
Have you ever been kicked in the groin?
Have you ever been smashed on the forehead?
Have you ever been shot in the stomach?

Many jerks will say anything for attention;
They will jump up and down to cause a distraction.

Some words can be equally painful or hurtful.
I am not from a shithole country.
I was born in Haiti, a Caribbean oasis;
I was not born in a sea of stool.

Many thieves will do anything for attention;
They will fake slicing their tongue for compassion.

Many bullies need to be ignored,
And yet the words, they utter,
Are very powerful.When bored,
Some fools will say anything for glamour.

Many jerks will say anything for attention;
They will kiss a cat's booty to cause a distraction.

I got hit hard; I got punched in the guts.
I did not fall like gravity; I am a fighter.
My brothers and sisters enjoy their huts.
Leave them alone, they do not play with fire.

Many fools will do anything for attention;
They will swallow poison to cause a revolution.

Mother Africa is not a shithole continent.
I am not from a shithole country.
I am a human being like the president.
I was born in a wonderful country.

Many goons will say anything for attention;
They will sneeze to spread their venomous poison.

Have you ever been punched in the nose?
Yes, I have. I saw roses and I did pause.
Have you ever been kicked in the groin?
Yes, I have. I felt being sliced like a sirloin.

Have you ever been hit hard on the forehead?
Yes, I have. I was ready to fight, and that was sad.
Have you ever been shot in the stomach?
Yes, I have. I was as mad as a sailor on the deck.

Many racists will say anything for attention;
They will discriminate by using their position.
