we divide
we divide into
religions
cultures
cities
countries
class divisions
political divisions
ethnic divisions
it was Socrates who said
"I am not an Athenian or a Greek
but a citizen of the world."
it was Terence George Craddock who said
"wisdom is always philosophy without nationality"
it is time to see past divisions and embrace
all of humanity especially
the so called untouchables
the poor and social outcasts
it is time
to become
citizens of the world
