It's A? - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

It's A? - Lincoln Park Zoo

At six weeks old, a roar I do
Just so the keepers do know that,
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo,
This little lion's a big cat.
I hear the public's still not told
Whether I am a girl or boy.
Hey humans, I am six weeks old,
That you're so slow tends to annoy.
By now even humans can sense
By close up peeks and make the call.
I'm showing lots of evidence,
So humans please get on the ball.

I hope with the next shot of me,
You will be told what sex I be.
