I can never let go,
The longer I'm without you,
The more I miss you so.

To see your face,
In that old familiar place,
To hear your laugh,
To see your smile,
Life's not the same,
It's been a long, long while.

How can so much happiness,
Drift away,
Like a ship on the sea?
How can I live without you?
You meant so much to me.

I hope your smiling beyond the stars,
I hope your looking down on me,
Somewhere from afar.

I miss you,
I have this burning pain,
Don't think for a moment,
It will ever go away.
For you were the one who made me smile,
I love you,
It's been such a while.
