It's Not What I See Poem by Ace Of Black Hearts

It's Not What I See

A change in scenery.
A change in the weather.
Something for the better.
A constant walk among the shadow of your former self.
Don't get angry for what can never be.
Don't make comparisons to those who are not you or wear your shoes.
Dashing expectations.
I rather not.
My pain is not the same.
My addictions are not yours claim.
My happiness can't be measured from an outside point of view.
Judgement can't be passed down without a smidge of bias.
So take your mirror and smash it into a million pieces.
Each a little different with no possibly of perfection.
It's what it to means to be human.
Not that ghost of an unchangeable reflection.
No imagination.
Quiet ordinary, quiet normal.
Uniform watch as the robots start too follow.
Becoming part of cult.
Just one small hicup.
You beliefs are not mine.
Impressions upon the godless divine.
A claim to what was never theirs.
Don't give in to the mind control.
Take pride in what they can't see.
Thats what it means to be me.
An ever changing identity.
