Its only rock and roll but I like it
-Gayathri B. Seetharam
Lord, I am walking down the street
With my handbag in my hand
Lord, I am walking in the store
Counting my money in my mind;
The handbag has my lipstick and my mirror
Which makes my "cake" self a Mirror, Mirror, on the wall,
Who is the most beautiful of them all? - self
But I long for my "bread and butter" self
Who is the "strong medicine" for my soul;
If PM Trudeau called me up and asked me,
My friend, Gayathri B. Seetharam, what do you need to make a country grow?
I would say, apart from me, Nilima Gandhi, Martha Miller and Alison with the blonde curls on her chest-like bosom
For we would make the country rock;
And I am going to say
Go ahead, mock me,
But I am going to show you
That I can make Canada rock and roll;
PM Trudeau is going to ask me,
My friend, Gayathri B. Seetharam,
What about them blues, "razzle dazzle" jazz, hip hop pop?
I am going to say, Sugar, they sound smooth as sugar
But they ain't rock and roll.

Walking in rocky road gives amazing perception and hearing music of Lord through nature motivates mind. Going ahead with positive perspectives is nice. An amazing poem is very brilliantly penned...10
