It's The Umpire's Call Poem by Phillip Nine Mafunga

It's The Umpire's Call

Just strode into the line of the delivery
Too short
Guiding the ball through extra cover
Hear the screams from the grandstands
Prices too are heard screaming
As we watch the brazen skies
Well it's the umpire's call really
Maybe he needs the tv review
The screams and the groans
Be steady on the crease
Its all timing and concestration required
And good partnerships are ideal in such situations
Comentaries make an interesting listening
Permutations and egitations
Captains must make decisive calls
It's at the death with a wicket to defend
I'd rather walk away with my integrity intact
Let them with guts watch the end
