Just An Observation Poem by Phillip Nine Mafunga

The spring in a young man's life
is evidenced by the bounce in his step
Even as he drools at the blooming beauty
evidenced by the intoxicating swing in her step
Soon both will learn, life is more than just attraction!

When you see an old man walk with a bounce
evidence that the ground is about to give in under him
For the old woman, her swings
are evidence that her sails are long gone
Soon both will crawl on all fours, back to the unseen!
