Jealousy Poem by Emmanuel Joseph Olumakiss

Jealousy

Rating: 5.0

When jealousy is allowed into the entrance of our heart
It takes control and gradually lay her mat

Envy, hatred begin to roam
Every corner of our home
Too many treaty she impose
When finally dominate our soul
In the rivers of our blood so many wrong float
As she springs forth her hand to contaminate our soul

When deep rooted in our vein
It reproduces series of pain
Envy, malice reign
Over our life and brain
Suddenly we become unhappy and ready to slay
Over someone breakthrough or fame

When jealousy is sowed
Like a muster seed in our heart
It flourishes and grows
Always moving fast
It impoverish our growth
And worst than people we called our foes.
