Are with her when she has her surgery
Are with her sleeping in her hospital room
are there to bring her back to the house.

It may surprise you, but I meant it too
To have and to hold, forever more
To me is wonderful, it's not a chore
The good lord said she'll stay with you
Until I need her, you'll have to do
But he said remember, there'll come a day
When you or she can no longer stay
Until that day comes be good to her
Treasure the days, you have in store,
