What is it that keeps a kept interest,
In the negative aspects.
That seem to remain more important.
Than addressing them to correct.

What is it that keeps,
Prioritized the dark side of life.
To implement and establish.
Until the routine of it,
Becomes debated day and night.

Those who no longer wonder,
To question what is or is not insignificant.
Seem to find time to devote,
Doing more adventurous things.
To leave folks who woe.
And their confessed miseries behind.

Today it seems,
Despair to debate it has consumed many minds.
And the ones enlightened,
Are not seeking twilight.
Or awakening each day,
To decide if what is done they do...
Will be approved by others.
Who are hoping to be told by others,
How it is they should feel.
What it is they should do.
Where it is they should go.
With their suggested recommendations.
They themselves have heard.
But their miserable lives will not allow.
Because to leave their routines,
Might mean they may enjoy discovering happiness.
And many today live lives to be judged.
