Jungle Of Hope

Rating: 4.8

I'm lost in the jungle of hope
I have lost myself
The shadow of happiness has turned its face
I have awakened a new wave of sorrow
I have loved this world
I have been deceived
The forest of hope was very dark
I lost my way
I have lit a love lamp
And extinguished all the lamps

'The forest of hope was very dark I lost my way I have lit a love lamp And extinguished all the lamps' - loved these lines of hope amid dark despair.

A hope-inspiring piece...penned with a knowing wit, all delicately immersed in the dying embers of simmering despair; which lingering qualms and doubts now seem to give way to a gradually firmer faith in fledgling optimism and her manifold stregths. A positive harbinger - portending the pristine looming of bright virgin shores, and the hesitating but decisive closing of the old. Kudos!
