Just Another Sunday Poem by Leila Mass

Just Another Sunday

Just another Sunday
Laying lazily on the couch
Watching yet another movie
Thinking about tomorow
Just another Sunday
After a crazy, confusing week I'm finally relaxing
Of sleeping in, forgetting to go to church
Of cleaning what we didn't the day before
Of preparing for a new week
Just another Sunday
Of bacon and eggs for breakfast
And dancing randomly to a salsa y merengue CDmy mom's playing
Making plans to go out, and just staying in
Just another Sunday
In my life, so plain and predictable
But this is how I like it,
Because I wake up knowing
This is just another Sunday
