'I've spent a long part of my life tolerating people and putting up with things that I never should've had to. Everything that I've been through has pulled me up by my heart and dragged it through my teeth. Left upon dirt roads with thousands of miles away from where I could've been. So after all that time here I am again. Thirsting and bleeding among the desert sands. I emerged from the dark into the ocean waves. I said goodbye to the sun just before I ran out of time. But is time really on my side after all of these years? Turning back the clock was never a waste of time for me. A new life was born just like a newborn's dream. From all that came from that; it created me. Who will be by my side when time decides to follow me? I won't follow you unto the dark but I will lead. Leading us beyond the moon as far as the stars can see. Then I can whisper of things that never have been heard before. It doesn't make a difference until the door is locked. Forever trapped in all of the things that you once were. Facing the truth of what you've done. In this final countdown of a long and lonely journey; that never seemed to end until now. Awake from what lingered in my soul; I've transcended into something that had all the answers. I watched you evolve through the hands of time into something that I no longer recognize. Flowing through the motions of your massive transformation. Your heart breaks every time I speak of it, with the eyes of the moon upon you. Where will you go from here when there's so much distance between who you are and who you used to be? Distant skies and our final goodbyes; sending all of the hate back from where it came. I don't need it anymore and it was always something I never wanted to keep. Follow me unto the dark until time has no ending. Infinity has found its home inside what is left of me. Craving for the life I never had and now it's finally mine; gripping me tightly so that I cannot leave. It lingers here but I 'll allow it to stay, just because I don't know who else to be.'...
