Just Going Poem by D.N. Rebb

Just Going

People are always going somewhere
To church or latest movies
To work or theological fairs
So, get out of the way, please
Where are you going? Was asked
I slyly said, Nowhere
To this fact they could not grasp
Just continued to stare
Go to bed or the bathroom
Go and answer the front door
They're still coming, I assume
Need anything from the store?
When we terminate going,
We'll be in our own deathbed
Of heaven we'll be hoping
Hey, still going! Not yet dead

Had to smile at the last line. Nice finish!
