J-ust let the sun brighten the day,
O-bliterating the blue;
L-et the new morn break,
L-et the dusk depart from
Y-ou.
D-awn denies the dark,
E-ven the lonely twilight;
L-et the beacon come up.
O-ne light is in
S-ight.
S-hadows have disappeared,
A-pril ninth early Sunday;
N-ight chill has vanished
T-o finally fade away.
O-nce the coal clouds turn white, underneath the skyway;
S-tart seeing the pink lane, just let the sun brighten the day.
