Just Take My Hand Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Just Take My Hand

Rating: 5.0

If you walk into my dreams,
just take my hand and walk with me.
We can talk and reminisce,
of days gone by, so sadly missed.
Those summer days from long ago,
The bright blue sky,
that gentle glow,
of sunshine there upon the beach,
those days are gone, so out of reach.
Remembering those winter walks,
Those familiar faces
of village folks.
Those people I won't ever forget,
Those times were great,
they were the best.
It was a time for you and me,
Back to those days I long to be.
Forever in my heart and soul,
Those precious moments etched in gold.

There are so many good things that we miss--its so hard to say goodbye. A lovely poem that is a joy to read even if it does make me a bit sad : )
