Justice Denied Poem by Dorsey Baker

Justice Denied

Rating: 5.0

They make you
Spend your whole life!
Behind cold prison bars
Dark prison walls
You never broke the law
But still
They made you do the time

They had no proof
But they found you guilty
You walk out of the courtroom
In chains
But the burden of proof!
Still remains

It's not your fault
But the guilty man
Never got caught!

Still walking around
A guilty but free man
While your justice
Has been denied
Forgive them
If you can!
Now the truth
Has been revealed
Somebody lied
Justice denied!
